Un baccano di legni e di rospi
(A Racket of Woods and Toads)

2024 - ongoing

The Carengione is a small nature reserve that is part of the Milan South agricultural parks system. Here, large pits resulting from industrial excavations carried out in the 1950s are now seasonally filled with groundwater, creating a perfect habitat for small aquatic amphibians.

During a walk in the park, I discovered a hut and some rudimentary small artifacts. I began to visit the park daily for about six months, searching, collecting, and cataloging traces of human, animal, and plant life.

The result is a narrative between fiction and documentary.
